Alice's tiny little frame danced across the blooming forest. Spring had come, and everything was filled with life. The trees were no longer bare, the woodland creatures awoke from their slumber, and the sun was bright again. Here and there, the sun's light peeked through the canopy and warmed Alice's pale skin. She was silent as her small feet danced across the forest floor. The fae parted her bright pink lips and began to sing. She didn't sing words so much as syllables such as "ah" and "la" in her high soprano vocals. The doe didn't care if she warned the woodland creatures of her presence, because she loved them. Her trilling voice rang through the silent forest as her song shot higher and higher in pitch until it was an almost inhuman sound. She continued skipping through the forest, sing her sweet song. "La-da-dum-dee-ah." she continued in her chirpy, bird-like voice. She ran forward with a sudden burst of speed and leapt into the air, twirling around, before landing softly on a bed of pine needles.
Alice wasn't at all a big person. Standing at only 4' 10" she tended to look a bit weak. She was very thin, but what she lacked in muscle she made up for with her speed and agility. Alice continued dancing through the forest, singing her sweet melody. Here and there, she would stop to marvel at the creatures around her, but for the most part she left the bushes and creatures alone. She would never dare harm another animal, seeing as she was vegetarian.

When she heard the high-pitched song, Pellegri looked down from her resting point on a thick branch of a tree. She had been laying on it, resting. She was laying there seeing as it provided not only a good resting spot, but also a vantage point in case any of her enemies or some city guards had been looking to hunt her down. Seeing nothing but a mere human girl, Pellegri's tense muscles relaxed. This girl looked like the only thing she could pose a threat to would be the grass below her feet.
"Hey girl," Pellegri drawled lazily, her beautiful yet at the same time harsh voice drifting on the wind. "Shut the hell up, would you? Some people are trying to sleep."
Pellegri closed her scarlet eyes again, though the girl probably wouldn't know seeing as Pellegri had the hood of her black robes covering half her face. It didn't matter what the girl said, but in all honesty, Pellegri didn't quite mind the girl's presence; she was just naturally harsh. This girl was obviously one who enjoyed nature, and she had already proved to be different from most humans Pellegri had encountered. Pellegri, too, enjoyed nature and loved animals despite her well-known violent streak and outstanding criminal record.

"Why waste the day sleeping?" the pixie-like fem trilled. She didn't quite see where the creature making the voice was located, but she knew it was female and that it was high in the air, probably in a tree. She tilted her beautiful face upwards as her emerald eyes scanned the trees around her. Not seeing anything, she continued twirling and dancing around the trees. Her bright pink lips parted to speak. "You will miss all of the events of the day." the petite fem continued, nodding her head. Her jaw dropped to let out a high-pitched melody that once again rang through the forest.
She titled her head downwards and spotted a squirrel, eating acorns leftover from it's winter store. "Hi there!" she said cheerfully, talking to the fat, gray squirrel. Although she knew that it could not understand her words, she talked to it anyway. Woodland creatures seemed to not mind her singing and dancing, as most others did. "It's a beautiful day." she said, shooting the squirrel a dazzling white smile. The squirrel stood a few feet away from her, peering curiously at her. It was probably weighing the options to run from the strange girl or stay to finish it's acorns. "I think you should be named Smoky." the fem said, her small crania nodding.

Pellegri snorted in light amusement at the girl's antics. 'Why waste the day sleeping?' This girl was vastly naïve at best.
"I do so hope you don't think that squirrel there is me," Pellegri said, leaning over in the slightest to watch the girl with the squirrel. At that point, the squirrel decided that the best course of action would be to scurry up the nearby tree. When it reached the branch Pellegri was laying on, it paused and crawled up to her, sitting upright on her crossed arms, cheeks bulging out with the food it had stuffed into its mouth. Pellegri frowned lightly. This squirrel must have realized that Pellegri was an elf; else he never would have gone near her. Perhaps it had more brains than she gave it credit for.
"You fool; I am probably more likely to hurt you than that girl down there," she murmured, picking up the squirrel and sending it on its way up the rest of the tree. It paused, giving Pellegri an almost chastising look before continuing. "I know, I've walked a dark path. You don't have to remind me, you little rodent."
Turning again to look at the girl on the ground, Pellegri removed her hood. Despite the fact it was spring, it was getting bloody hot in that hood. Deciding to answer the girl's question, Pellegri sighed before speaking again.
"Why would I 'waste' the day sleeping? Girl, I prefer the night. The moon is far more beautiful than the sun. Besides, in the dark I am less likely to be found… or caught during one of my," Pellegri paused, "excursions."

The pixie-like fem's emerald eyes followed the squirrel up the tree, and a hint of black caught her eye. Sa that was where she was hiding! The tilted her small crania upwards to look at the black figure that was now taking off the hood. She caught a hint of blue but she mainly saw black, probably her hair. Alice sported black hair too, but hers was short and spiky, sticking out at the sides. She was curious, now, about the other figure. "I have different opinions." she chuckled. When the petite fem chuckled, it was a light and airy thing, something that would cause most kind-hearted creatures to chuckle along. But Alice had a feeling that this elf was abviously not kind-hearted, as most other elves. She skipped over to the tree, and began the climb upwards. Her small frame moved easily and quickly up the branches. She soon arrived at the branch that the other, who was unknowingly dubbed Pellegri, rested apon. "So this is where you've been hiding." she said, her soprano vocals soaring.

"Urgh," Pellegri grunted, shrinking away from the girl, her face a mixture of revulsion, confusion, and oddly enough, fear. It wasn't that Pellegri was afraid of the girl, per se, but rather afraid of emotional connections. Not to mention that most humans Pellegri had encountered either tried to kill her or were about to get killed by her.
However, upon hearing the words, and tone of voice used for said words, that the young woman spoke, one of Pellegri's finely arched eyebrows twitched rather obviously in irritation.
"Girl, what the hell are you doing?"

Alice paid no mind to the girl's obvious irritation, seeing as she was used to it. She listened to her words attentivly, but instead of answering, she turned around, gracefully climbed to the branch above her, and skipped across it until she was directly above the the other fem. The pixie-like fae then laid on her stomach so that her green eyes could overlook the other. "hmm." her tone was that of a person trying to concentrate.
"I am trying to see why you like resting in trees so much." the fae said, flashing her a brilliant, white smile. "I don't see anything special about hanging around in the trees. The ground is a lot more comfortable, you know. The petite fem then grabbed the branch in her tiny hands and swung around so that she was hanging, upside down, from the branch above the other fae. Her full, pink lips parted so that she could emit a high sound some would not consider as singing. She quietly continued making these sounds, forming a kind of made-up song.
Alice wondered why the other fem was so reserved. She seemed to not like Alice's presence, but of course that never stopped Alice before.

Pellegri raised an eyebrow when she was met face-to-face with this girl before her. She chuckled darkly at the girl's words, highly amused. Why was she resting in the trees? Did this girl truly want to know the answer to that question? Pellegri considered telling the truth, and it might get a rather humorous reaction from the girl to learn that she was hanging in a tree with a woman who killed in cold blood because someone prayed to the Night Mother to bring death to the person they desired to be killed [1]. "I'm hiding," Pellegri said, smirking. It was the half truth, anyways. Suddenly, the girl let out a high-pitched, ear-shattering shriek. Lips curled and eye twitching dangerously, Pellegri snarled. "Stop that, you psychotic idiot!" Pellegri would have laughed at the fact that she was calling someone else psychotic had it not been for the fact that she was covering her ears which were suffering in immense pain and ringing angrily. "Suit yourself." Alice said, closing her lips. The fem then began a different form of singing. This time, it was actually a song. Although it sported no words, it was still a hell of a lot prettier than her song earlier. She began to swing her upper body, which was still hanging upside down, forward and then back, gaining momentum. When the fae was going fast enough in her swinging back and forth she realeased her legs from the branch, flipping backwards so that she landed on the same branch as the other, unknowingly dubbed Pellegri, was resting.
"What are you hiding from?" Alice said, her soprano vocals stretching upwards. "I'm sure I pose no threat to you." she said chuckling once more. She then sat down in front of the other swinging her small, thin legs back and forth. She continued humming cheerfully through closed lips as she awaited the other's reply.

Pellegri, relieved, sighed and lowered her hands from her ears. Her ears hadn't quite stopped their ringing, but at least the girl was no longer shrieking. Eyeing the girl that was above the branch she was resting on, Pellegri decided to officially dub her the Banshee. It was a fitting name, to be sure. But the song that she began singing next was actual singing instead of hideous screeching, and Pellegri found herself almost getting lulled to sleep. Awoken by the sudden movement, Pellegri's eyes shot open to see the girl swing to the branch she herself rested on.
She sighed lightly and rolled her eyes. But at the girl's next question, Pellegri's piercing scarlet gaze flicked back to the girl, hard and cold. Thus far, she had not shown any sign that she knew the criminal she was sitting in a tree with. This girl may be different in comparison to most humans, but she was still human. So who was to say that this little Banshee wouldn't try to capture her and sell her to the guards for the bounty on Pellegri's head? After all, the money prize from her bounty could probably feed a large family for a few years. Quickly, Pellegri formulated a lie.
"You know. I'm hiding from… bears and such," Pellegri said, almost too quickly. "Yeah… bears."

The pixie-like fae returned the other's cold glare with sparkling green eyes. Her eyes showed no coldness or harshneed, only pur happiness. She sat there on the tree branch, contemplating the other's answer. She bit her bottom lip and furrowed her neat brow in concentration for a moment before answering. "Bears. Hmm. You seem like a person who would be afraid a bears." She said observantly. Alice had a feeling that maybe the other wasn't exactly telling the truth. But she shrugged it off. What did she know? Maybe the strange elf was afraid of bears.
"I'm not afraid of bears. The usually don't bother me. And if they do, they could never catch me."she said with a light chuckle. "My name is Alice, by the way." she said nodding her head.

Pellegri snorted. Of course she wasn't afraid of bears. Animals usually left the elven population alone, lest they be rabid. And of course, one glare from Pellegri was usually enough to send them running towards the hills, tails between their legs.
"Yes. I have a dreadful fear of bears," Pellegri said, disguising a grin.
When the girl spoke again, Pellegri glanced at her. Obviously, this girl wanted to know Pellegri's name if she was giving out hers.
"So the Banshee has a name, eh?" Pellegri mused, a smirk on her features. Pellegri then debated whether or not she should tell this human her name. Shrugging it off, Pellegri decided that if this girl tried anything, she could easily overpower her should the situation call for it.
"My name is Pellegri. Nice to meet you, Banshee," Pellegri said, emphasizing the word 'nice' with heavy sarcasm.

"Pellegri. Hmm.. that's a nice name." the petite fae said, smiling widely. It seemed to her, though, that maybe Pellegri was hiding something about her fear of bears. She decided to press it just a little more. "It's too bad that you're afraid of bears. They are truly magnificent creatures. I love animals. The birds are my favorite, though." She then swung off the branch and landed silently on a bed of pine needles.
OOC: Really short... I didn't know what to say xD Sorry it's so sucky
