In order to gain a power/weapon, you must climb Mount Omega, where the Gods will meet you. You will essentially be roleplaying with yourself. The Gods will present you with directions and/or options. Depending on how you react to the God that has been assigned to you, they will decide whether or not you get a power/weapon.
Here's how the order will go:
You: Start a thread stating why you want to climb Mount Omega and be granted a power or weapon.
God: Present you with directions/options/task.
You: React to what the God presents you with.
God: Present you with another directions/options/task.
You: React to what the God presents you with.
God: Will either send you home, or grant you with a weapon/power.
You: If you are granted a weapon/power, you must reply with an example of you using your weapon/power.
God: Decides if you get to keep it. If not, go home and try again later. If so, go home and have fun. Keep practicing to better your ability.
Rules
- Only Gods may give you a power/weapon. Your character may not be joined with a power.
- Powers and weapons are extremely hard to obtain. It may take your character several tries before the Gods think you're worthy.
- You must wait at least one week between power/weapon quests for any given character. Do not flood the Gods with requests for powers/weapons.
- If you do obtain a power or weapon, you will start off at level one. The highest level you can be is level 5. Each level you gain will help you in battles. You can achieve levels by practicing your powers and weapons through time and roleplaying. If the Gods notice you have been practicing your power/weapon, they may come down without notice and upgrade you.
- No one will be an expert at first. If the Gods catch you using your new power/weapon out of your ability, they may punish you or even take away your ability.
- Power/weapon levels are not laid out in detail. As you advance through the levels you will gain experience and be able to handle your power/weapon with more assurance.
- Different Gods may be assigned to you. Read the List of Gods to learn about the God in charge of your quest. And remember, if your God does decide to grace you with a weapon/power, use it as they would see fit. Do not do evil things with a weapon granted by Hera, or save the kingdom with a power granted by Hades.
