Jirith slowly moved through the thickets, the only sound was his soft cloak rustling the leaves. His hand expertly moved through branches and picking off ripe berries unseen to the normal eye. Many people didn't know where to look so the undergrowth was always thriving with life. He swiftly pocketed the berries and moved through the branches in a course for his home.
He stopped for a moment to catch his breath. He leaned against a nearby tree and slowly slid down so we was facing the leaves above him. Light filtered down lazily and he found himself slipping into a dream...
He blinked and stood up, shaking himself roughly. He had to get home by nighttime if he wanted to eat dinner at a normal time. Scoring himself for his laziness, he picked up his pace to be sure he wasn't tempted to stop again.

Bailey sat up in her tree watching the male human pick berries in the undergrowth. He was a good berry-picker she had to admit. She considered dropping down but decided against it and she moved her foot slightly making a rustle. Damn! she thought hoping he didn't hear her

Jirith's lips twisted in a smile and he nodded absently, and sarcastically to a nearby tree. He turned away, slightly annoyed that the female had him waste needless time.
