[glow=red,2,300] What a glorious day. Shi'ka moved into his new castle and smirked as he looked around him. The guards where on edge but they had heard about the battle and how he had one fair and square of the kingdom.
He had a corronet on him which showed him to be the king. He smiled as he paced the halls learning about each of the different places. His bedroom was down the hall and now dark like his mood. He chuckled as he looked at the throne room. Yes this was his place.
Shi'ka sat down in the giant chair, wearing only his black pants and shoes. He rested a arm on the armrest and rested his head on his closed fist. He smiled as he closed his eyes. yes the first part of his plan had gone well if unexpectdly. He had just finished up with Markus the old king and he was debating what he was going to do with him now. He did have lots of fun with him after the battle.
A small purr emenced from the back of his throat as he thought about what he and the old king had done. He chuckled and shook his head ridding his mind of the thoughts. That was in the past and he could not feel that particular pleasure at the moment. Well... He could but he knew it would be better to see how things are being done. [/glow]

Although Alice wasn't completely thrilled about the idea of the man she haerd of as Shi'ka being king, she would still congratulate him. Yes, she didn't know him, and that was the problem. The pixie-like fae didn't know what kind of king she was up against. Was he evil or kind? Forgiving or merciless? She had no idea, but she guessed she would find out. She skipped forward down the paved, stone path and smiled at the gaurds. They seemed on edge today. The gaurds had always liked Alice, knowing she would never hurt a fly. She usually greeted them and made small talk with them. But today they only gave her a curt nod.
She asked one of the maids where she could find Shi'ka and gave her a small thanks after being told he was in the throne room. She had stayed in the castle for a few months, so she knew her way around. When she arrived at the throne room, he was sitting in his throne, and frankly, he looked rather bored. She came to stand in front of him and shot him a perfectly white smile before dipping her bodice into a curtsy. "I just wanted to congratulate you on becoming king." the petite ess said, smiling. But there was something about him. Something familiar. With a start she realized that this so called "Tristan" wasn't Tristan at all. He had lied to her and given her his false name. She wouldn't confront him about this, though. She didn't know why he had lied to her about his name and she intended to find out before letting it on that she knew. She kept her face bright, but this time it was because she was hiding something.

[glow=red,2,300] Shi'ka was bored for the most part but he was also thinking. He looked up at the sound of footsteps through his hall and tilted his head slightly waiting for the figure to come into sight. His eyes widened in surprise for a moment before he remebered she was supposedlly the duchess. however he no longer had anyone as ranks except himself. And he had sent out that notice to those that where of rank. Hopefully they would understand though of course he didnt care.
He watched as she bowed in front of him then said congrats. he saw the flicker of regonization through her eyes and chuckled. [/glow]"[glow=black,2,300]Hello Alice. Thanks for the congrats as well as getting me a sneak peek of my new home. Its cause of you that im king now. Did you know that?"[/glow][glow=red,2,300] He chuckled as his blue and silver eyes looked at her with amusment. [/glow]

The small fem listened to his words and gave him a fake smile. Because of her? Couldn't have been. It was obviously because of Markus Gorgon's lack of fighting skills. No matter, though. She could see that he was probably just trying to mess with her. "Well I'm glad I could be of your assistance." lie. Of course she wasn't glad that she had been of any assistance to him. He had lied to her, so why not lie to him?
Maybe she would have to dig a little deeper to get information on him. She wouldn't go to him, though, for it. She would go to the citizens she trusted to find out more about this so called Shi'ka. Maybe she would stay and chat for a bit, if the conversation allowed. If she could find out some things from Shi'ka himself she would be ahead. Her feirce green eyes stared into his unusual, bi-colored ones for a moment, searching for something. What she was searching for, she had no idea.
