Lunch at the Castle

The petite fem led the way, her small, jaunty steps carrying her further and further towards the castle. "I'm sure King Markus would be happy to meet on of the civilians here in Arden." the fae said, smiling. The sun was beginning to set, but there was still plenty of daylight left. All was peaceful in the land of Arden, or so one would think.

As the large, stone castle came into view, Alice smiled. This had become her home in the few moons that she had spent here, and she had learned to love it. She tread the small, stone path towards the castle doors, her small feet making light thuds on the rocks. She glanced behind her, making sure Shi'ka was following her, before letting the gaurds open the door for them. They stepped inside and Alice set her green gaze upon the interior of the castle. "We should probably call for Markus." the fae said, smiling. "Markus!" she chirped, her sweet voice echoing throughout the large castle.

Markus heard Alices call and came, although somewhat reluctantly. "Alice, what is it? As Duchess you should send a servant for me, not yelling throughout the castle, for I am your king." He said a little angrily then look at the man, and had a sunned uneasy feeling. "Who is this alice?" The king asked half angry, half weary of the man. He did not trust him, not at all. And hhe could not explain why.

Shi'ka followed the fem, keeping the smile on his lips. He looked around him and chuckled as she called for Markus. He looked around and when the man came into view he bowed to him as was due to a king. Though Shi'ka was just acting it came off as natural.

[glow=red,2,300] They didnt know his name and they wouldnt know it till he chose to tell them. Shi'ka smirked in his head but only showed a smile to those there. He looked between the two waiting for whatever was to come next.
