Jade ground her teeth angrily. She stared at her large belly, wishing she could kill the horrible baby now. It had been one season since she had been....hurt by the man in the forest. She didn't want a child. She wished she had never gone there. She never wanted to be there in the first place. Why couldn't she have gone around....I was lazy she thought angrily. It was a beautiful day, the sun shone reflecting on the lake. Once she might have marveled but not now. She hated beauty now, she thought the world should grieve for her. She was having a baby she didn't want!
